how do i run for the office of sheriff in alabama?

I would like to know how to run a campaign for sheriff in alabama

1. First you need to sure that you meet the requirements in Alabama. Are you married to a close relative? (That means sister or cousin)
2. why dont you look up the requirements, (I am assuming you're in law enforcement) go to work, and ask a higher official how to run for sherriff.
3. It's an elected position , so campaign in the county in which you reside.
