Is it legal for a minor in Black Hawk County, Iowa, to carry a taser?

I'm almost 15 and carry a taser everywhere but school grounds. Actually, it is legal for minors to carry a taser as long as it is off school grounds. By the way, I am often in big cities and bad parts of the cities by myself. Cities like Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids..

1. I doubt it is legal if you are under 18. Even if you were over 18, the cops would probably arrest you and ask why you carry it. If you need it for personal safety reasons, the police are not doing a sufficient job there.

3. With police response times what they are, you are wise to carry something for self-defense. Cops can't prevent crime; they can only investigate later, and TRY to find out who committed it. Meanwhile, your funeral services are underway. Self-defense is ALWAYS a good idea.
